Full Job Description

Physical Therapist Assistant

Hope At Home Health Care is growing. We are looking for an energetic, skilled PTA who is seeking a part-time position.

Location: Various locations and cities across the Metro area

Employment type: Part-time, 20-30 hours per week

Minimum experience: 1 year. Experience in home care preferred

Compensation: Visit rate

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent individualized care for patients.
  • Educate patients on their condition and treatments.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation.
  • Assist therapists in determining progress, developing goals, and directing care.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a PTA, 1-2 years minimum.
  • Knowledge of exercise concepts and practice.
  • Effective communication with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Current State of Michigan license.
  • Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited school.
Preferred:
  • Experience in orthopedic and home healthcare settings.
  • BLS certification.
