Brief summary of purpose: Under general supervision of the Clinical Manager and Primary Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant provides and documents the full range of Physical Therapy assistant treatments and tests to all categories of patients, supervises supportive personnel and participates in educational services. Acts as a clinical instructor and is responsible for teaching inter‑department continuing education/in‑services.
Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, performs processes involved in the delivery of age‑appropriate patient care. Provides care appropriate to the patient population served. Completes all required competency assessments.
Education:
Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.

Minimum of 1 year experience with elderly population.
In accordance with the Massachusetts Wage Transparency Act, the pay for this position is $39.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on the candidate's experience, skills, and fit with the role's responsibilities.
