Job summary

Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on the Washington Coast. You will work with physical therapists to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

The role requires a PTA program graduate with current WA PTA licensure and BLS within 6 months of hire; Epic experience is a plus. Collaborative, outdoor-friendly environment with strong community focus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current Washington State PTA license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 6 months of hire.
• One year of clinical healthcare experience preferred.
• Epic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on therapy and guide rehabilitation exercises.
• Educate and encourage patients and families.
• Assist with infection control and patient safety practices.
• Collaborate with PTs on treatment plans and progress.
• Contribute to community outreach and wellness activities.

What You'll Need

• Education: Graduate of an accredited PTA program

• Licensure: Current Washington State PTA license

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (required within 6 months of hire)

• Tech-Savvy: Epic experience a plus

What You'll Do
