Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver patient-centered therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. You will follow the treatment plan, assist patients with exercises, gait, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

You will educate patients, families, and caregivers, adapt to diverse home environments, and document responses while reporting changes.

Qualifications

• Active license or certification to practice physical therapy in the applicable state.
• Reliable transportation or access to transportation.
• Weekend rotations available.
• CPR certification and ability to perform lifting and mobility tasks preferred.
