Job summary

Boost Home Healthcare in Colorado seeks a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. You will deliver physician-prescribed therapy and help patients regain independence in their own homes.

The role requires current state licensure, a PTA degree from an approved program, and a willingness to work PRN with daytime hours; weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in physical therapy assistant from an approved program.
• State licensure in the practicing state is required.
• One year of home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician prescribed physical therapy.
• Improve or minimize residual disabilities.
• Return patient to optimum level within their capability.
• Collaborate with home care team on care planning.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide physician prescribed physical therapy.
• Improve or minimize residual physical disabilities of the patient.
• Return the individual to optimum and productive level within the patient’s capability.
• Participate with all other home care personnel in patient care planning.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• Graduate with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in physical therapy Assistant from a physical therapist curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education, American Physical Therapy Association, or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and American Physical Therapy Association.
• Currently licensed in the state in which practicing
• One (1) year experience preferred in a home health setting

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)

Job Type and Pay:

PRN

• $38-45/hr
• Up to 20 hours a week
