Job summary

Parkview Health at Home, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a full-time or part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver in-home care in Fort Wayne, IN. You will work with a PT to improve patients' mobility and independence, while utilizing NestMed ambient AI technology to streamline documentation.

Schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with no after-hours on-call. Compensation includes competitive wages and mileage reimbursement; $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active registered PTA license in the state in which you practice.
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification.
• One year PTA experience in a clinical setting.
• Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in their homes to regain independence by improving mobility, strength and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with the PT, patients, families and other health professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
• Deliver home-based physical therapy services using NestMed ambient AI technology to streamline documentation and focus on care.
