Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for the Outpatient Rehab - Faunce Corner location in Dartmouth, MA.

This per diem role offers flexible shifts, including evenings and Saturdays, in a supportive rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include patient care under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Team Leader, assisting therapists, and contributing to a high-quality, home-focused healing process.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current Massachusetts license as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt by signing a statement.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of Team Leader, Rehabilitation Services or Designee, perform patient care and related duties within the Rehabilitation Services Department.
• Assist therapists with treatment, patient positioning, and related support activities as needed.

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

• An Associates Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current Massachusetts license as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
• One (1) year of experience is preferred.
• CPR certification required.

• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
