Job summary

Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Cumberland, MD is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for part-time and PRN opportunities in an outpatient setting. You will assist licensed therapists with personalized treatment plans, help patients regain mobility, and contribute to a compassionate care team.

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting and current licensure; CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Experience in outpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.

Founded in 2012, Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a private practice group of board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons who focus on individualized care of their patients. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans that promote mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function. You will work closely with patients in an outpatient setting, providing hands‑on support and encouragement throughout their recovery journey. Minimum Qualifications
