Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services in Austin is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our on-site rehabilitation team in senior living communities. This PRN role requires a minimum commitment of 8 hours per month and offers opportunities to grow, mentor, and deliver patient-centered care alongside experienced therapists.

You will provide one-on-one functional treatments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and advance your clinical interests through on-site training and CEUs.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in applicable discipline required.
  • Current license in state of practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
  • Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities
  • Share your skills and training as a valued member of our on-site rehabilitative care team by assisting with rehabilitative services for patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Provide attentive one-on-one therapy services for residents, administering functional treatments that emphasize a holistic, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Get mentorship and valuable hands‑on experience utilizing innovative technologies and therapeutic treatments.
