A leading healthcare provider seeks a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in patient care. The role involves implementing treatment plans, documenting care, and improving quality standards. Ideal candidates are licensed in Virginia and hold an Associate's Degree, with proficiency in communication and attention to detail.
Under the direction and control of a Licensed Physical Therapist the Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant may assist the Physical Therapist in performing selected components of physical therapy intervention to include treatment measurement and data collection.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associate's Degree.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant within the Commonwealth of Virginia and/or certification with the appropriate credentialing Board of the profession. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
