Job summary

Rivetus-Rehabilitation- in Canal Winchester, OH, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant for full-time work in a geriatric post-acute setting.

You will provide PTA treatments under PT supervision, document care, participate in discharge planning, and collaborate with the care team to support patient recovery and family education.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• State of Ohio licensure required for PTA practice.
• Ability to exercise professional judgement and initiative in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides PTA treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist according to the treatment plan.
• Completes documentation to maintain accurate medical records and supports reimbursement guidelines.
• Coordinates with other disciplines to ensure effective total patient care.
• Participates in discharge planning and provides patient and family instruction as needed.
• Represents the PTA department in care conferences with families and staff.
• Supervises students and volunteers as required.

Contributes to the development, implementation of, and progression of patient treatment and modifies treatment as necessary. Participates in patient care conferences and program development.
