Qualifications

• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists and assistants with setting up equipment and preparing treatment areas.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions within the hospital.
• Clean and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas after use.
• Maintain inventory and stock supplies as needed.
• Support patients during exercises or ambulation under supervision of licensed staff.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times.
• Provide general administrative or clerical support (e.g., restocking linens, filing, answering phones).
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
