Job summary

Klickitat Valley Health in Goldendale, WA invites you to join as a Physical Therapy Aide. You will help prepare treatment areas, assist patients with exercises and equipment, and ensure privacy and safety during therapies under a PT’s supervision.

This casual role requires a high school diploma or GED and a current BLS certification, with at least one year of direct outpatient PT experience. You’ll work closely with the therapy team and may perform light clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED and current BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of recent full-time direct patient care in an outpatient PT setting.
• Ability to prep treatment areas, assist with equipment, and maintain patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room/area and ensures patient privacy.
• Assists patient into care area and PT apparel as needed.
• Educates patients on proper use of equipment and exercises.
• Delivers equipment and positions items for Therapists.
• Reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT.
• Maintains department supplies and performs basic clerical tasks.
