Job summary

Klickitat County Public Hospital District No 1 is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to support the PT team in outpatient care. You will prepare the patient and treatment area, greet and assist patients, and help with exercise routines under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

Required are a High School diploma or GED, current BLS certification, and at least one year of direct patient care in an outpatient PT setting. Casual roles are not eligible for benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of direct patient care in outpatient PT department required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room/area for patient by following procedures and protocols; ensures patient privacy during treatment.
• Welcomes patient and assists into care area; helps patient into PT apparel or uses PT equipment.
• Educates/instructs patient by demonstrating proper use of equipment and prescribed exercise routines; clarifies understanding of care.
