Job summary

Orthopedic-Centers-of-Colorad is seeking a Physical Therapist Technician to support licensed therapists by preparing treatment areas, guiding patients through prescribed exercises and maintaining records in a busy clinic. Under direct supervision, you will handle scheduling, patient intake, equipment cleaning, and basic patient education to enable therapists to focus on evaluation and advanced care.

This role requires good communication, organization, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to assist patients with movement (lifting/carrying).
• Basic understanding of physical therapy modalities and familiarity with EMRs.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists by guiding patients through exercises and monitoring progress.
• Handle clerical duties: phones, scheduling, patient files, intake and paperwork.
• Prepare treatment rooms: equipment setup, cleaning and linen management.
• Monitor and maintain PT equipment and supplies, keep organized.
• Document patient information and progress in EMRs/records.
• Ensure timely start of therapy sessions and clinic flow.
• Administer modalities per therapist guidance and instructions.
