Job summary

Talentify in Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to work under supervision of a physical therapist or assistant. You will guide ambulatory patients, assist with exercises, record treatments, and help maintain a clean, safe clinic environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the clinic, basic clerical tasks, equipment maintenance, and high-quality patient care. The role offers a base salary range of $17.00–$22.00 per hour, with discretionary incentive compensation and standard

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma.
• Pre-Physical Therapy coursework or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Personable, energetic, and capable of working with a diverse patient population and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct ambulatory patients to and from treatment areas, including wheelchairs.
• Confer with physical therapy staff for planning, modification and coordination of treatment.
• Instruct patients performing therapeutic exercises under therapist supervision; record treatments and equipment used.
• Fit and position patients on exercise equipment and observe responses during treatment.
• Safely administer treatment modalities (electrical stimulation, ultrasound, cold laser, etc.).
• Assist hand therapist with splint making and hand therapy exercises.
• Perform opening and closing duties for the clinic and maintain cleanliness.
• Handle basic clerical duties like answering phones and filing forms.
