Highbar Physical Therapy in Rhode Island is hiring a non-licensed Exercise Specialist/Physical Therapy Aide to support PT staff and patients in a fast-growing outpatient setting.

You will help with room prep, patient instruction, and administrative tasks while upholding safety and cleanliness standards. A degree in kinesiology or related field is preferred; benefits include comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field strongly preferred.
• Standing or walking for extended periods.
• Assist with patient exercise instruction and demonstrations.
• Monitor patient movement to ensure safety, including fall prevention.
• Light lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional bending, reaching or crouching as needed.

Responsabilités

• Ensure condition and cleanliness of treatment rooms and gym area meets standards.
• Assist clinical staff with patient intervention following plan of care.
• Assist administrative staff with scheduling, intake, and communications.
• Maintain a clean environment and manage supplies for patient safety.
