Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma.
• Pre-Physical Therapy coursework or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Personable, energetic, and capable of working with a diverse patient population and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct ambulatory patients to treatment areas and assist with exercises under supervision.
• Confer with staff to plan, modify, and coordinate treatment.
• Instruct patients performing therapeutic exercises and record treatment provided.
• Properly fit/position patients on exercise equipment and monitor responses.
• Safely administer modalities and report progress to therapists.
• Assist hand therapist with splint making and hand therapy exercises.
• Perform opening/closing duties for the clinic and ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain clinic equipment and linen, and perform basic clerical duties.
