Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide/OSS - Floater to support patient care across multiple Maryland locations. The role offers hands‑on training, mentorship, and exposure to outpatient rehab workflows within a collaborative team.

You will greet patients, assist with registrations, prepare treatment areas, monitor progress, and help patients perform prescribed exercises. The position is full‑time (35 hours) with competitive benefits and a chance to grow in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must have Healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during check-in and appointments.
• Assist clinicians with scheduling and streamline patient intake/registration.
• Onboard new patients reviewing paperwork, verify benefits, complete forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing/cleaning treatment areas and setting up equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Help patients perform exercises and support home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer a collaborative and welcoming environment where you will:

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
