Job summary

ATI Health in Fallston, MD is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team delivering compassionate patient care. You will gain hands-on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to physical therapy while supporting therapists and patients throughout recovery.

The role offers full-time hours (40/wk), clinic hours from 7am to 7:30pm, and opportunities to participate in a growing outpatient rehab setting with a strong emphasis on safety and patient progress.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during daily check-in and their appointments.
• Promote efficient patient intake and registration and assist clinicians with scheduling.
• Onboard new patients reviewing paperwork, verifying benefits, and completing forms.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas, and set up/adjust exercise equipment to support PT.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer a collaborative and welcoming environment where you will:

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check‑in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
