Job summary

USC Care Medical Group is seeking a Therapy Aide to support direct and indirect patient care under supervision. You will assist with scheduling, referrals, and setting up treatment areas, while maintaining equipment and supplies and performing clerical tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong English communication, safety awareness, and the ability to follow instructions. A preferred bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and prior PT department exposure are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English and communicate with patients and staff.
• Demonstrates safety, infection control, and body mechanics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the therapist with scheduling of patients and updating referrals from the surgery schedule.
• Set up and clean treatment areas and assist with patient treatment as directed.
• Maintain equipment, stock supplies, and perform basic clerical functions.
• Provide basic receptionist tasks such as answering calls and directing patients.
