Job summary

Therapeutic Associates Ability Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide to join our team in McMinnville, Oregon. Schedules are flexible and students pursuing physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degrees are encouraged to apply.

As a patient-centered team member, you will support therapists, deliver great patient care, and help with modalities and procedures in compliance with state laws. We offer wellness programs, retirement plan, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Interest in Exercise Science or related field is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support therapists and assistants in providing patient care.

  • Assist with modalities and therapeutic procedures as allowed by state laws.
  • Follow safety and infection control guidelines.

How you will make an impact

  • Support a patient-centered team by assisting and taking direction from our Physical Therapists and/or Physical Therapist Assistants to provide great patient care.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, team members and customers.
  • Implement knowledge of human physiology and physical therapy interventions.
  • Conduct safe application of modalities and therapeutic procedures as allowed by state laws.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by your leadership.

What you will need to bring to the table

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Interest in Exercise Science, Sports Performance and Fitness preferred - students who are pursuing a physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree program are strongly preferred.
