Job summary

ACCESS PT, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our Brookfield, CT team. The position is full-time with hourly pay of $17.00-$18.00 based on experience.

Responsibilities include preparing and sanitizing the treatment room, assisting therapists, and communicating effectively with patients and the healthcare team. Bilingual Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual - Spanish is a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sanitize treatment room for the patients
• Understand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes,rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, progressive resistive exercises asdesigned by the Physical Therapist
• Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs
• Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatment
• Assist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training.
• Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team
