ATI Physical Therapy in Bala Cynwyd, PA is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team delivering exceptional patient care. You will greet patients, assist with intake, verify benefits, and help prepare treatment areas and equipment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

This full-time role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to the field of physical therapy, with opportunities to develop healthcare skills and advance toward further studies in the rehab

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly during check-in and throughout their appointment.
• Promote efficient patient intake and registration; assist clinicians with scheduling.
• Assist onboarding: review paperwork, verify benefits, complete medical forms.
• Support therapists by preparing/cleaning treatment areas and setting up exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing prescribed home exercise programs.

In this position, you’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to the field of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer a collaborative and welcoming environment where you will:

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
