Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. You will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to physical therapy workflows as you support patient intake, treatment setup, and exercise programs.

The role emphasizes assisting therapists, coordinating scheduling, and helping patients progress through prescribed home exercises while working in a supportive outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during check-in and visits.
• Assist clinicians with scheduling and efficient patient intake.
• Onboard new patients, review paperwork, verify benefits, and complete forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas and equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients with exercises and home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
