Skypark Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing outpatient orthopedic clinic in Torrance. You'll deliver evidence-based care under PT plans of care while working with a close-knit team that values clear communication, professional growth, and an exceptional patient experience.
New graduates are encouraged to apply. You'll be paired with a named supervising PT for weekly one-on-one case review during your first six months, with a structured 30/60/90-day caseload ramp - mentoring time is paid and protected.
The hourly range is $36-$42, depending on experience. We use a written rubric for placement within the range and share it during the interview, so the number isn't a mystery or a negotiation contest.
The $5,000 student-loan / education benefit is paid in four $1,250 installments at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months - giving you meaningful support during the first year instead of holding the full benefit until the end of year two.
Approximate first-year value, before overtime
$93,000+
We're a therapist-owned clinic with a small team of physical therapists, PTAs, aides, and dedicated front desk staff. The caseload is general outpatient orthopedics with steady referral volume - post-surgical patients, athletes, and active older adults - so you'd be busy from the start rather than building a schedule from zero. We're planning a second location; this role is an addition to the team, not a backfill, with room to grow as the practice expands.
Skypark Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. The hourly range above is a good-faith estimate under California pay transparency law (SB 1162); placement within the range depends on experience.
