Job summary

Select Physical Therapy is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant in Long Beach, CA. Location: 2017 Palo Verde Ave Ste 101, Long Beach, CA 90815. Schedule: Monday–Friday.

Compensation: $30–$35 per hour based on experience. As a PTA you will work under a licensed PT to provide high-quality therapy, with minimal supervision, and maintain strong relations with centers and patients. Incentives include a $10,000 sign-on bonus, monthly student loan repayment assistance, and relocation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed national PTA exam and CAPTE certification.
• Valid PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state law.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and expand client relations across center staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act.
• Implement high‑quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with center staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs and certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.
