Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities in Albuquerque.

You’ll provide evidence-based therapy, supervise assistants, and collaborate with a compassionate team dedicated to residents’ recovery and quality of life. Open to therapists at all experience levels with valid licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited university with a valid state license.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders.
• Provide skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation.
• Consult and counsel patients, families, caregivers and other providers.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and students in accordance with licensure.

Experience/Qualifications:

Must have graduated from an accredited University and have valid (or in process) License in appropriate state. This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
