Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our neurological and specialty-based outpatient therapy clinic. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with complex conditions and contribute to clinical excellence and team growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations following departmental policies and professional standards.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions.
3. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
4. Actively seek and provide feedback to support continuous clinical improvement.
5. Share expertise through in-services, case discussions, and educational sessions.
6. Support quality improvement efforts and assist with program development.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• A skilled clinician experienced in treating a wide range of complex patient cases.
• A collaborative team player with a passion for mentorship and professional growth.
• Knowledge of intervention options and ability to implement a skilled physical therapy program.
• Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) certification is highly preferred.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Experience: At least 6 months relevant experience
• Licensure: Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Certification: AHA BLS certification required

Physical Demands

The role requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent bending/stooping/traveling, and the ability to lift/push/pull 20-50 lbs. Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills are necessary. The position may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
