Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Home Health team in Sandersville, GA. You’ll assess patient care needs, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve mobility and function in the patient’s home setting.

The role requires CAPTE-accredited education, a state license, and CPR certification; no prior experience is required. You’ll work with a supportive multi-disciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field such as biology, exercise science, or kinesiology.
• Graduate of an accredited CAPTE program (Physical Therapy).

Sandersville, GA location

The Physical Therapist in Home Health is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain and other medical conditions. Based on this assessment and evaluation, the Physical Therapist works to help determine a treatment plan, performs interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient‘s well-being, and evaluates the patient‘s progress.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors Degree in a health‑related field like biology, exercise science, or kinesiology Required and
• Graduate of an accredited program from a CAPTE‑accredited school Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required

Licenses and Certifications

• PT - Physical Therapist Upon Hire Required
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Upon Hire Required
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Must have a current driver‘s license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle Upon Hire Required
