Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for Home Health in Aiken, SC. You will assess patient needs, devise treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve mobility and function.

role requires a PT license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field such as biology, exercise science, or kinesiology is required.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited program is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, mobility, endurance, pain, and other conditions.
• Develop a treatment plan based on assessment and provide interventions to improve patient well-being.
• Evaluate patient progress throughout Home Health care.

The Physical Therapist in Home Health is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain and other medical conditions. Based on this assessment and evaluation, the Physical Therapist works to help determine a treatment plan, performs interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient‘s well-being, and evaluates the patient‘s progress.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors Degree in a health-related field like biology, exercise science, or kinesiology Required and
• Graduate of an accredited program from a CAPTE-accredited school Required
