Job summary

NHC HomeCare Greenville in Greenville, SC is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. The PT supervises and participates in applying physical therapy techniques for rehabilitation of patients with disabilities or injuries.

Qualified candidates hold a BS or MS in physical therapy, are licensed in the state, and have supervisory experience preferred. The role emphasizes coordination, evaluation, and records management in a supportive HomeCare setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a BS or MS in physical therapy as accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed or registered under the statutes of the state in which the physical therapist will be practicing.
• One year’s experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Active member of the state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises physical therapy services.
• Provides physical therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegates portions of the program to the licensed physical therapy assistant.
• Instructs staff in delegated functions including precautions, problems, goals and reevaluation plan.
• Evaluates, plans and supervises treatments with short- and long-term goals for patients and periodic re-evaluations.
• Maintains patient care records to meet third party qualifications and state/federal requirements.
