Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a StaffFlex contract on days, Mon-Fri, 8am–5pm. The position offers $75.00/hr plus differentials for a 13-week contract, with full-time scheduling.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating individualized treatment plans, discharging with follow-up, documenting care, educating patients, and maintaining productivity within department quality standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT with CPR certification required.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, MS Office) recommended.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations to assess patient conditions and progress.
• Establishes individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals.
• Discharges patients by completing necessary documentation and providing follow-up recommendations.
• Documents patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Charges for services rendered according to established billing procedures.
• Educates patients and caregivers about treatment plans, exercises, and home care instructions.
• Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities.
• Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Meets productivity standards and adapts to changes in patient census as needed.
