Job summary

PruittHealth in Austell, GA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to support SNF rehabilitation. The role is PRN with compensation up to $130,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location.

You’ll help patients regain mobility and independence and work within a collaborative clinical team. Responsibilities include evaluating diverse patient conditions, creating individualized plans, monitoring progress, documenting thoroughly, and educating patients and families on home

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
• New graduates welcome where applicable.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with orthopedic, neurological, and mobility-related conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, and overall functional mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs.
