Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN role in Austell, GA. The OT will assess ADLs, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with the care team to maximize patient independence and function in post-acute settings.

Compensation can reach up to $130,000 annually, with benefits and opportunities for career growth. Experience in SNF or post-acute care is preferred, and foreign-trained applicants must have credentials deemed equivalent.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Experience in rehabilitation, SNF, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Develop treatment plans that enhance independence and functional performance.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Address cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations impacting daily function.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers on functional strategies for success.
