Physical Therapist (PT/RPT) – Full‑time

Belair Care Center is a busy sub‑acute/skilled nursing facility located in North Bellmore, NY. You will work with a geriatric population and see a mix of short‑term and long‑term care patients. The facility is a 5‑star rated environment with a dedicated rehab director and an entire rehab team that collaborates effectively. Multiple therapists of each discipline work together in two large rehab gyms, providing a friendly workplace and excellent patient outcomes. Scheduling is flexible and accommodating.

Rehab Team Leader / Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/ OTA) – Full‑time

A full‑time REHAB TEAM LEADER / Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/ OTA) position is now available in our sub‑acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department.

Qualifications

• Provide daily oversight of rehabilitation services
• Ensure efficient and effective operations of the facility’s rehabilitation department
• Provide therapy services to patients
• Provide clinical support, training, and oversight of specialty programs within the discipline
• Plan and coordinate with other facility therapists in the implementation of programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods, and data
• Provide administrative supervision of therapists in the rehabilitation department
• Be a licensed Occupational Therapist or license‑eligible in the state where employed
• Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
