Job summary

Marlora Post Acute Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in California. You will work with residents, guiding them through personalized therapy to reach recovery goals and improve mobility, alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include evaluating functional ability, creating individualized plans, performing interventions, documenting progress, and educating residents and families.

Qualifications

  • Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • Knowledge of current physical therapy practice standards and regulations.

  • Evaluate residents' physical abilities, functional limitations, and mobility needs using standardized assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, resident goals, and physician orders.
  • Provide skilled physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
  • Monitor and document resident progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Communicate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure optimal outcomes for residents.
  • Educate residents and family members on physical therapy goals, treatment plans, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of physical therapy services provided.
  • Participate in team meetings, in-service education, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of physical therapy practice and relevant regulations.
