HCA Healthcare's Medical City Decatur location seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across the continuum of care. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop individualized plans, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, effective discharge planning.

Proficiency in post-acute and acute settings preferred; BASICS include coordination, documentation, and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Formación

• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) credential.
• Experience in post-acute and acute care settings preferred.
• Strong ability to educate patients and families about therapy plans.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
• Delivering evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitoring progress and updating treatment plans with accurate documentation.
• Educating patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices.
• Collaborating across disciplines for cohesive, patient-centered care.
• Leading by example and mentoring therapy assistants or students.
