Job summary

HCA Healthcare and Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, are seeking an Acute Rehab Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat hospitalized patients. You will plan individualized therapy programs, work with physicians and nursing staff, and contribute to discharge planning and patient education.

Qualifications include a Georgia PT license (or eligibility), current BLS, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Recent or current Georgia Physical Therapist license or eligible.
• BLS certification current or within required timeframe.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement PT treatment plans for hospitalized patients with diverse conditions.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait and mobility training, and patient education.
