HCA Healthcare's Medical City Decatur in Texas is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and quality of life through evidence-based therapy, in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

You will develop individualized care plans, deliver hands-on treatment, document progress, educate patients and families, and mentor therapy assistants while upholding a commitment to compassionate care and clinical excellence.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree is required.
• Texas OT license is required.
• OTR or OT credential is required.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Acute Care experience is preferred.

• Evaluating each patient’s functional abilities and needs, then developing individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and the care team.
• Delivering skilled, evidence-based interventions that promote healing, independence, and quality of life.
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting plans as needed, and ensuring thorough documentation reflecting outcomes.
• Educating patients and families to build understanding and engagement throughout recovery.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure safe transitions of care and exceptional patient experiences.
• Leading by example and guiding therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare values.

Ausbildung

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree

OTR/OT

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days
