PT rehab director responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the therapy department, ensuring quality outcomes and team alignment

  • Supervise and support physical therapists, assistants, and other rehab team members

  • Oversee scheduling, staffing, and daily operations to ensure smooth delivery of care

  • Conduct assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans to improve residents' function and independence

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet the holistic needs of each resident

  • Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure regulatory compliance

  • Foster a positive and productive work culture built on teamwork, accountability, and respect

  • Serve as a liaison with facility leadership and ensure integration of rehab into the broader care model

  • Maintain documentation standards and participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives

What we're looking for in a PT rehab director:

  • Licensed physical therapist in the state of Wisconsin

  • Leadership experience in a skilled nursing or senior living setting preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills

Qualifications
