Job description

Responsible for evaluating/assessing the needs of referred patients and formulating treatment plans.

This means patients can complete a full spectrum of treatments, procedures, and consultations from a multidisciplinary team of therapists for an individualized and comprehensive care plan. Our rehabilitation services department serves patients during and after hospital treatment for a seamless care transition as well as provides robust outpatient therapy services for the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides therapy services defined in treatment plans
  • Work cooperatively with medical staff, case managers, social work and adjusters
  • May supervise physical therapy assistants and aides
  • Performs a variety of tasks
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
  • Typically reports to a manager
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
  • Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

Requirements and Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of a nationally accredited school of physical therapy required
  • Current Idaho Physical Therapy License required

Working Conditions
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
• Typical equipment used in a clinical job
