Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist/PTA role located in the Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. Orthopedic, Pelvic Health and Pediatric roles available. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing hands-on physical therapy and rehabilitation interventions. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, updating clinical documentation, educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. The Physical Therapist/PTA will also support quality improvement initiatives, uphold safety and infection control standards, and contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs. THAT CAN BE A NEW GRADUATE !
• Demonstrated skills in Patient Care and Home Care, including patient education and support for at-home exercises and recovery.
• Understanding of Medicine and general musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions relevant to physical therapy practice.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in South Carolina.
• Experience in outpatient or similar clinical settings, preferably in orthopedics, sports rehab, or pelvic floor therapy. Including new graduates that has great internships!!
• Effective communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ethical practice, continuing education, and maintaining professional competencies.
