Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Physical Therapist for PRN assignments with a flexible schedule to support our diverse patient population. Inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire to learn is welcomed.

The PT will provide age-appropriate care and work under the guidelines of the state Physical Therapy Practice Act and PAM Health policies, while collaborating with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and quality of care.

Qualifications

• PT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides (LA).
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care and supervision of therapy delivery for an age-appropriate population.
• Deliver care in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and PAM Health policies.
• Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for patient/patient management, delivery, direction and supervision of care provided in an age- appropriate manner, consistent with the principles and practices of the Physical Therapy Practice Act of the state where the hospital or clinic resides, the professional code of ethics, and the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: PT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience:One year of clinical experience preferred.
