Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Springfield is seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis in Missouri. You will conduct initial assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and guide PT assistants and students under supervision.

The hospital offers a fast-paced, supportive environment focused on exceptional patient care. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and Missouri PT license; BLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Develops a plan of care aligned to patient goals.
• Carries out individualized physical therapy programs to restore function.
• Performs age-appropriate therapy interventions using PT techniques.
• Supervises PT assistants, students and support staff; communicates tasks.
• Evaluates prosthetic/orthotic devices and recommends mods.
• Documents goals, progress and plans for reevaluation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Directs and supervises physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel. Assesses competence, delegates specific tasks, and establishes channels of communication.

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Springfield is 60-bed Rehabilitation Hospital. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions. Our Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow!

How You'll Contribute

What we're looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping others and is a team player! Other requirements of the position include the following:

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor\'s Degree is required.


• Licenses: Physical Therapist License in state of Missouri is required.


• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 30 days of hire
