Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Re-assess effectiveness of treatments, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, recommend home and community safety measures, and provide referrals and education resources
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, patients, and families
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in practicing state
• Current BLS or CPR certification as per state regulations
• Preferred: at least one year of work experience as a PT
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform patient transfers involving up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Physical requirements include pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, kneeling, and repositioning
• Health screening may be required prior to and periodically during employment
