Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care, supervising Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs; may orient staff and students; may act as supervisor in absence
• Assess patient needs; initiate appropriate interventions; collaborate with healthcare team; maintain professional standards
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness; modify plans as needed; communicate with physicians
• Perform assessments and reassessments; ensure quality improvement scoring; treat adult and geriatric populations
• Manage patient pain to optimize participation; coordinate interventions with physicians
• Develop and update individualized physical therapy plans
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
