Job summary

Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Physical Therapist for PRN weekend coverage to support patients as they regain function.

You will evaluate conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, instruct staff and families, and help maintain smooth scheduling and documentation. Strong teamwork and communication are essential. Experience in rehab settings and flexibility for weekend shifts are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them improve day by day.
• Instruct nursing staff and patient families on follow‑through programs that build on progress.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges to patient records.
• Other duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute

A Physical Therapist who excels in this role:

• Put your physical therapy skills to work where they're really needed -evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them get better, day by day. You'll also instruct the nursing staff and the patient's families on follow-through programs that build on the progress they've made
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
• Other duties as assigned
