Physical Therapist (PT), Per Diem Weekends, Acute Care Therapy

Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation seeks to hire an experienced Physical Therapist for our Acute Care Rehabilitation Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

1. Perform initial examinations and evaluations to establish impairment/diagnosis, prognosis, and care plans in various rehabilitation settings.
2. Provide or supervise therapy interventions based on evaluations, involving patients and team members, and reexamine patients as needed to modify care plans.
3. Plan for patient discharge in collaboration with the care team, considering goal achievement and outcomes, and determine when to discontinue therapy.
4. Document all aspects of patient management, supervise rehab aides and assistants, and communicate effectively with the care team.
5. Manage caseloads, attend team meetings, and ensure professional development.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Acute Care Rehab preferred.
• Active Maryland PT License.
• Active BLS certification.

Work Schedule: Per diem, minimum of two weekend shifts per month, holiday rotation. Pay rate: $55/hour. Salary discussions during screening if not displayed.
