Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, daycares, and schools across Texas. You’ll assess, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, improve mobility and independence, and collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Texas Physical Therapy license, or eligible to obtain licensure before start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Provide physical therapy services to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional independence.
• Implement physician-approved plans of care using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide caregiver education and training to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
• Supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) is a plus but not required.

Physical Therapist Qualifications & Responsibilities:
